Covid 19/Coronavirus Policy & Procedures

In an effort to keep our scouts, leaders, and families safe during the upcoming school year, we will be implementing new procedures for our meetings, campouts, and events. These include following CDC, Ohio, Summit County, and national BSA guidelines.

  • All scouts and parents will be required to wear facemasks to indoor meetings and events.
  • Scouts and family members will be required to bring their own hand sanitizer.
  • We ask that parents monitor their scouts. If you or your child have a temperature of 100 or above or show symptoms of Coronavirus or any other illness, we ask that you keep them home until they are clear to return.
  • Symptoms include but are not limited to
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of Breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
New Loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
  • If you have a known exposure to someone who has tested positive for Coronavirus/COVID19 we ask that you please follow your doctor’s and the Summit County Health Department recommendations for quarantine and clearance for return to activity.

Please do not hesitate to err on the side of caution, we will make sure scouts are able to work on and complete all requirements for their rank.
